Christopher K. Norton is a successful financial executive who a dozen years ago was able to turn his attention to social and educational programs that make a difference. Christopher K. Norton presently serves on the boards of a variety of charitable organizations and private companies, including Haverford College and Loomis Chaffee, a New England boarding school.

As a board member with the Washington Center, the country's largest internship program, since 2003, Mr. Norton engaged as development committee and comprehensive campaign chair and spearheaded efforts that enabled fundraising beyond the center's $15 million goal. He also served as strategic planning committee member until 2015 and over the past two years has spent time within the center, at the board's request, expanding his operational knowledge.

Mr. Norton’s corporate experience includes past leadership positions with Goldman Sachs that spanned nearly two decades. Guiding business out of offices in Tokyo, London, and Frankfurt in the early 1990s, he became managing partner in 1996 and headed the firm’s New York-based America’s Institutional Business Development Group. Among Christopher K. Norton’s core responsibilities was meeting the needs of institutions such as the World Bank and CalPERS, the California Public Employees' Retirement System.
