Chase Pipes

A passionate adventurer and historian, Chase Pipes believes that everyone should have access to historical information and artifacts regardless of their budget, education or age. To this end, he serves as the co-owner and operator of Smoky Mountain Relic Room in Tennessee. This store sells authentic, legally sourced historical items, such as minerals, fossils, meteorites, and artifacts, at a variety of price points to fit everyone's budget. The mission id to bring authentic history to everyone ensuring the protection and safe transfer of history down through the generations. Chase Pipes personally examines hundreds of thousands of items sold through his business to ensure they are genuine, restores damaged artifacts to ensure they retain their integrity, and travels around the country looking for objects of the past in need of a good home.

Beyond leading Smoky Mountain Relic Room, Mr. Pipes also serves as the host of “Chasing History” on YouTube, “Chasing History Radio” on local radio shows, and the “Chasing History Radio” podcast. An educational documentary series, Mr. Pipes uses Chasing History to bring viewers into the history and discovery of many of the items that he sells at his store. Through these episodes, he introduces audience members to the men and women responsible for discovering these items, in an effort to inspire the next generation of scientists and historians.

Mr. Pipes supplements his work with Chasing History with a monthly newspaper article that updates readers on different aspects of the Smoky Mountain Relic Room and their adventures.
