About Me
After earning a bachelor's degree in industrial and production engineering from the Manipal Institute of Technology in India and a master's degree in industrial engineering from Wichita State University, Ashwani Muppasani joined General Motors as a Flint, Michigan-based senior manufacturing engineer. Over the following years, he worked his way up through the company's ranks, eventually becoming the vice president of the global purchasing and supply chain in South Korea. In recognition of his innovative leadership at General Motors, Ashwani Muppasani was presented with two Transformers Awards, which he earned in a single six-month span.
In 2013, Mr. Muppasani became the executive vice president of Ohorizons Global, Inc. Subsequently, he joined TE Connectivity, initially serving as senior director and then carrying out responsibilities as vice president of quality and operations for the Americas. In the latter position, which he held from August of 2017 to April of 2019, he guided logistics, new product design, and asset implementation, among other areas.
Today, Ashwani Muppasani stays engaged with his field as a member of SME. He also maintains standing as board-certified ergonomist. In his free time, he enjoys hobbies ranging from reading books to playing cricket.
