An experienced businessman in the technology sector, Alex Salazar serves as CEO of Stormpath in Silicon Valley. He co-founded the company in 2011 with the support of such investors as New Enterprise Associates, Scale Venture Partners, Flybridge Capital Partners and Pelion Venture Partners and has led the development of a variety of products and services, from comprehensive user authorization to identity platform support. Alex Salazar has generated a diverse client portfolio that includes Veritas, FAA, Fanatics, Purch, G6, Playboy as well as a growing list of bleeding edge start-ups and small businesses.
Alex Salazar also writes articles for the Stormpath blog, on which he shares insights from the sales experience he gained while working at IBM. As an IBM product specialist, he oversaw more than $30 million in media accounts for Bloomberg and ESPN, among other enterprises.
In preparation for his career, Alex Salazar completed a bachelor of science in computer science with a minor in finance at the Georgia Institute of Technology. He later earned a master of business administration at Stanford Graduate School of Business.
