Alex Korchmar

Aleksandr “Alex” Korchmar is a well-established presence in the New York construction industry as the leader of Alkor Capital. His firm also has interests spanning automotive dealerships and real estate development. Alex Korchmar guides the development planning process and ensures compliance with contractual and licensing laws as projects go forward. He manages the hiring of contractors and strives to maintain strong relationships with all members of his team.

Active in his community, Aleksandr Korchmar regularly donates to a local Jewish children’s camp and the Chabad Lubavitch of Kingsborough College. Following Hurricane Sandy in late 2012, he oversaw reconstruction efforts centered on Young Israel of Brighton Beach, which had sustained major damage. His efforts helped ensure that the organization could stay in its original location.

Mr. Korchmar completed studies at the University of Economics in Odessa, Ukraine, and stays up-to-date on economic and business trends spanning the globe. Having been introduced to tennis at an early age by his father, Alex Korchmar continues to engage his children in learning the sport.
