Akanimo Udofia

Akanimo Udofia serves as managing director of Desicon Engineering Limited, a Nigerian oil and gas firm. Over his tenure with the firm, he has developed its governing policies and guided it toward profitable growth. In its early days, Desicon had roughly 100 employees, and since then, it has expanded into a sprawling organization encompassing more than 4,000 professionals. Before joining Desicon, Akanimo Udofia worked as senior business manager with Vision 2000 Limited, an energy company serving clients in Nigeria.

Prior to establishing himself in the petroleum sector, Akanimo Udofia studied at the University of Uyo, from which he earned his bachelor of science in business administration. Continuing his education, he completed the Harvard Business School Senior Executive Program.

Engaged with his wider community, Mr. Udofia supports nonprofits like the Roots Medical Mission and the London Eastside Young Leaders Academy. Moreover, he belongs to a variety of international oil and gas industry associations.
