Tim Salvesen

The vice president, corporate controller, and treasurer for GridLiance in Chicago, Illinois, Timothy Salvesen performs a wide range of financial and administrative functions. He is licensed as a certified public accountant (CPA) with the State of Illinois and holds active membership with both the American Institute of CPAs and the Illinois CPA Society. Before joining GridLiance in 2015, Timothy Salvesen served for a year as senior audit manager with Chicago’s FGMK, LLC, and for over a decade as senior audit manager with Chicago’s KPMG, LLC.

Outside of the professional environment, Timothy Salvesen enjoys golfing and supporting the various athletic endeavors of his children. Over the years, he has also contributed to a number of charities including the United Way, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the American Heart Association, the American Red Cross, and his alma mater, Northern Illinois University. While working for KPMG, moreover, Mr. Salvesen honored his mother, who died of lung cancer in 2010, by spearheading a productive charitable partnership with the American Cancer Society.
