An accounting graduate of Miami University in Ohio, Ted Catino balances a busy career as an entrepreneur and career coach with a dedication to philanthropic interests. He stands out as the founder of the Catino Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization that supports the furthering of Catholic education at home and abroad. Under the direction of Ted Catino, the foundation also supports America's military service members through a range of initiatives.
Professionally, Ted Catino began his career as an entrepreneur when he founded Security National Automotive Acceptance Corporation (SNAAC), an indirect lender in the specialty automotive finance industry. Along with his wife, Becky, Theodore Catino guided the firm through periods of exceptional growth, expanding the firm’s lines of credit from $500,000 to more than $300 million by the time they sold the company in 2011. SNAAC received numerous accolades along the way, including the Community Service Award from The Thank You Foundation and recognition as the Greater Cincinnati Small Business of the Year.
Since 2011, Mr. Catino has led 625 Investments, LLC, a Boston-based investment firm which has generated returns of more than 30 percent during its existence. In recent years, he has relinquished the day-to-day investment management responsibilities to his son, Theodore (TJ). Currently, Mr. Catino focuses on his burgeoning career as an interview and transition coach, a role in which he assists individuals seeking new careers and planning for retirement.
