About Me

An accomplished businessman and aviation expert, Steven P. Levesque head Hawthorne Corporation in Charleston, South Carolina. He has served as president from 2008 through 2015 and as CEO from 2010 until 2015, growing the company through the acquisition of multiple fixed-base operations (FBO) throughout the United States. Using his more than 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, Steven P. Levesque transformed the Charleston firm into a new FBO chain with five high-volume locations. Prior to working with Hawthorne, he held senior vice president and CFO positions at Piedmont Hawthorne Holdings, Inc.

Before beginning his career in aviation, Steve Levesque attended the University of North Carolina (UNC) at Chapel Hill, where he earned a bachelor of science in business administration. He then joined the United States Navy and later transferred to the Navy Reserve where he recently retired after 25 years combined active and reserve service. In 1996, Steven P. Levesque acquired a master of business administration from The Citadel, The Military College of South Carolina, where he was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma business honor society.

Outside of work, Steve Levesque enjoys boating, reading, and offshore sailing. He is still a fan of UNC sports and avidly follows the school’s football, men’s basketball, and women’s soccer teams.
