Sean Southland

A professional race car driver, Sean Southland serves as the chief executive officer of motor sports management company TrinityTEK Racing Development. Dr. Sean Southland has also worked as a research scientist on federal projects such as SIDS and the Genome Project.

In addition to his entrepreneurial activities, Dr. Southland takes a strong interest in research on autism and other neurological disorders. His desire to contribute to progress on these conditions led him to cofound a nonprofit, the IDEA Foundation.

Dr. Southland’s achievements are varied and several. They include service in the armed forces and law enforcement. He is a licensed pilot, and he has raced a variety of cars, including production models, motocross vehicles, and karts. A member of the American College of Sports Medicine, he also possesses emergency response and health care certificates and a wealth of clinical experience.

Dr. Southland holds several degrees with a core focus in bio sciences, business administration, exercise physiology and nutrition. He also has professional certifications in quantitative electro encephalography, neurofeedback and biofeedback. He is one of a few qualified indivduals in the world to have competency as a master diplomate in advanced simulation therapy a up and coming expertise in neurophysiology.
