A registered professional engineer in Virginia, Georgia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, Scott Heefner serves as a Senior Vice President with the Redhorse Corporation in Arlington, Virginia. In this role, he provides oversight and develops new business for the company within the environment, energy, and infrastructure markets. Scott Heefner previously led the National Capital Region Operations for Information International Associates (IIa), a small woman owned technology business with its headquarters in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.
Mr. Heefner attended Georgia Tech, graduating with a bachelor of civil engineering in 1979. During his time at the university, he held membership with student groups such as the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity and Students Concerned with Relevant Engineering (SCORE). He continued his studies at Georgia State University, where he completed the necessary coursework for an MBA before going on to earn a master of science in civil engineering from Utah State University.
Scott Heefner enjoys fishing, golfing, and participating in artistic hobbies such as painting and drawing in his spare time. He also supports the American Cancer Society and the Alzheimer’s Association.
