An experienced programmer and analyst, Rick McCoy has served since 2008 with the Texas (TX) Department of Family Protective Services in Austin. He has developed, tested, and revised a number of programs that support the agency's online communication processes, including data collection intended for use in prosecuting those accused of serious misconduct toward others. In addition to this and other projects, Mr. McCoy has proved successful in implementing and managing a large-scale project that protects vendor identities by replacing Social Security numbers with alternate numerical identities.

Rick McCoy comes to his current role after a more than two-year tenure as data warehouse Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) developer for Daman Consulting. There, he collaborated with a team to develop storage capacities for AMD. Responsible for the quality assurance of data graphs, he also implemented a number of improvements targeted at optimizing efficiency.

Rick McCoy joined the team at Daman after gaining consulting experience with ACE Info Solutions and Knightsbridge Solutions, both of which serve the United States Department of Agriculture. He expanded his career as a lead developer with Blue Cross Blue Shield of North Carolina.
