Richard Cantner

Richard Cantner, an 11-year resident of Vero Beach, Florida, works as a Certified Business Consultant with the Small Business Development Center at Indian River State College (SBDC at IRSC) in the nearby city of Fort Pierce. His duties with the SBDC revolve around advising approximately 60 clients on matters that range from financing and hiring to developing company strategies and policies. Since joining the SBDC at IRSC in 2011, Richard Cantner has helped launch eight new companies and secure more than $3 million in business loans.

Mr. Cantner formerly managed Vero Beach’s Touch of Class Cleaners, from 2005 to 2008. From 1988 to 2005, he owned and operated Clean, Inc., in West Lawn, Pennsylvania. This company operated five divisions,including the award-winning County Fresh Laundry, and the Auto Cleaning Court.

Outside of the professional arena, Richard Cantner enjoys spending time with his twin Standard Poodles and generally maintaining an active and healthy lifestyle. He also served three years as a church deacon.
