The recipient of a bachelor's degree in philosophy and mathematics from St. John's College, Reid Walker is a marketing and communications leader who began his career as a director with GE and has since held increasingly senior executive roles with Honeywell, Lenovo, and T-Mobile. In 2013, Reid Walker relocated to Washington, D.C., where he was hired to serve as director of communications in a United States Senate Committee. He held this position until 2015, following which he has served as director of communications for Senator Maria Cantwell (D-WA).

In this capacity, Reid Walker is responsible for developing and executing a communications strategy to support the work of Senator Cantwell on issues ranging from healthcare and energy to net neutrality and aviation regulations. He also supports drafting op-eds and speeches, and coordinating town halls and press conferences. In addition to high-level communications positions, Mr. Walker is a Kellogg Foundation Fellow of the American Indian Ambassador Program and has completed leadership training programs at GE, Honeywell and specialty communications programs at Duke University and the Harvard School of Public Health.

While living in Washington, D.C., Walker returns to North Dakota on a regular basis, where he is a tribal member of the Mandan, Hidastsa, Arikara Nation.
