Before initiating his career in medicine, Dr. Randy David Hassen, MD, began his education at the University of Wisconsin, where he studied biology. Transferring to Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois, two years later, he joined the school’s varsity baseball and hockey teams and was elected president of a health service organization. Subsequently, Dr. Randy David Hassen was accepted into the Universidad Autόnoma de Guadalajara in Mexico and graduated with a medical degree. Continuing his education, he next attended New York Medical College, where he completed the 5th Pathway Medicine Program.
In the early stages of his career, Dr. Hassen was a physician at Rockford Memorial Hospital and Yale-New Haven Hospital. As he learned the proper procedures for tending to patients, managing emergency department flow, and processing healthcare paperwork, he quickly grew into management positions. After earning high-level experience as the health director at The Wellness Group and manager of independent living at Lincoln Park Hospital, Dr. Randy David Hassen opened a private healthcare management firm, which he still operates today.
