Peter Ambrose

An experienced financial professional, Peter Ambrose currently serves as a director for a leading financial services and advisory company in Northern Virginia. Since 2004, he has assisted the company by leading offices in Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire, in addition to his present location. In each of his posts, Peter Ambrose has sought to grow revenue, guide financial advisors, and protect the organization. He has overseen numerous employees and served on a Directors’ Advisory Council, a post for which he received a nomination, and he currently holds responsibility for the operations of the entire Northern Virginia region for his firm. Peter Ambrose also serves as an Arbitrator for the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA).

Previously, Peter Ambrose worked as a managing director in New York for PaineWebber, which UBS later acquired. He fulfilled responsibilities such as increasing revenue, communicating the firm’s strategy, and protecting assets. He served clients from an office in Lower Manhattan.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Peter Ambrose plays golf and tennis, especially at River Bend Golf & Country Club of Great Falls, Virginia, in which he holds membership. He also enjoys reading, including books by David Baldacci, Tom Clancy, and John Grisham.

In his charitable efforts, Peter Ambrose supports Habitat for Humanity and the Wish You Well Foundation. He has also hosted events to benefit nonprofits, such as a movie night for which the attendees brought care packages for American troops and unwrapped toys for children at the holidays. These efforts benefited Operation Gratitude and FACETS, respectively.

Before entering the workforce, Ambrose attended St. Bonaventure University in New York, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration.
