An accomplished athlete in his student years, Mike Fehrenbacher played football & baseball at Providence High School in New Lenox, Illinois, and Palomar College in San Marcos, California. While working toward his associate of arts in business at Palomar, he concurrently served four years in the United States Marine Corps. Mike Fehrenbacher subsequently matriculated at the College of St. Francis in Joliet, Illinois, where he studied finance, served as a member of the Business Club, and competed as a baseball player. He earned a bachelor of arts from St. Francis in 1993.
Mike Fehrenbacher’s professional history includes loan officer tenures with the Federal Financial Group in Oakbrook, Illinois, and Hartland Mortgage Centers in Lisle, Illinois. He served as the chief executive officer of the mortgage lender MidWest Funding Bancorp from 1999 to 2012.
Mr. Fehrenbacher currently works out of greater Batavia, Illinois, as an independent wholesale lending and insurance contractor. He holds active membership in both the National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Illinois Association of Mortgage Bankers, and the International Academy of Management and Business.
