A junior at the University of Michigan's Ross School of Business, Josh Shandell has received a number of honors for his academic performance. Recently named a Carson Scholar, he also stands out as a James B. Angell Scholar and a Paton Accounting Fellow. Furthermore, Josh Shandell has received University Honors for his outstanding academic achievements.
Mr. Shandell has also pursued practical experience in the real estate investing field. He has served as a summer analyst in the real estate private equity group at Apollo Global Management, a global alternative asset management firm, and with the New York City-based firm GTIS Partners, LP, where he played a key role in both acquisitions and asset management.
Furthermore, Josh Shandell stands out as a leader in a number of on-campus organizations. As founder and president of Cooking for a Cause, he organizes all aspects of the group’s meal preparation and delivery efforts. He also serves as co-president of the Undergraduate Real Estate Club, a role through which he shares his passion for real estate with fellow students at Michigan.
