Jeffrey Felzer

Jeffrey Felzer, DMD, graduated from the University of Wisconsin with his bachelor’s before earning his DMD from the Temple University School of Dental Medicine. Following his graduation, he continued expanding his knowledge through a series of residencies. He completed a general practice residency at Montefiore Medical Center and a periodontology residency at a joint program between New York University and the New York VA Medical Center. During his last year in his periodontology residency, Dr. Jeffrey Felzer earned the designation of chief resident.

Dr. Felzer then went on to work as clinical assistant faculty at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine before starting his current role as a private practice periodontics and staff at Christiana/Wilmington Hospital. He now provides such dental services as bone grafting, tooth extractions, and periodontal disease treatment at locations in Hockessin, Newark, and Pike Creek. His office is fully digitized and offers cone beam cat scans (CBCT), a highly accurate scan that created 3D images of the teeth, face, and jaw.

Dedicated to staying abreast of changes in the field, Dr. Jeffrey Felzer belongs to the Association of Osseointegration, American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and Delaware State Dental Society. He is also a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. Further, Dr. Felzer maintains an active role in his community and is involved with the AAP Foundation and JFD.
