Born and raised in New York City, philanthropist Jay Zises is a co-founder of Manhattan-headquartered Esquire Bank and currently helms A Cap, Inc., a financial services company he has chaired for more than two decades. Maintaining a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles, the firm partners with a select client base of high-net-worth clients and channels its resources to spur the growth of promising start-up ventures across multiple industries. Before he assumed his leadership role at A Cap, Inc., Jay Zises served as Chairman of the Executive Committee at Integrated Resources, Inc. a finance group recognized as a pioneer in the bundled securities and variable annuities market. He spent twenty years with Integrated Resources prior to joining A Cap, Inc. in 1991.
Actively engaged in charitable giving, Jay Zises volunteers regularly at a soup kitchen run by The Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest. He also supports HELP USA, a non-profit entity that connects economically challenged citizens with housing opportunities. Additionally, Mr. Zises has donated to many other organizations over the years, including Development Corporation for Israel/Israel Bonds, The American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), The Nature Conservancy, Environmental Defense Fund, and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
