Prior to completing his postsecondary education at Bryant University, James MacKenzie gained valuable business experience serving as a team leader for College Pro Painting in Newton, MA. In this position, James MacKenzie was responsible for business development through advertising and door-to-door sales. He leveraged this work to co-found and lead a home grooming company, Home Groomers, where he directed sales and advertising and managed the startup company’s seven employees.
Mr. MacKenzie went on to complete several internships, including a marketing and Internet internship at EH Publishing. In this position he gained experience leading the company’s sales team and selling advertisement space. He went on to serve as an operations intern at Maintenance Products Corporation, where he maintained responsibility for managing inventory and assisting with marketing promotions. In his most recent position, he served as onsite supervisor at AJM Group, managing the group’s employees and overseeing the daily budget.
Outside of work, Mr. MacKenzie enjoys reading and is especially fond of J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. Also an athlete, he plays golf on a regular basis and aspires to play professionally. As a native of Newton, MA, he follows local sports teams, including the New England Patriots and the Boston Red Sox.
