About Me

An accomplished, experienced real estate development professional, Harry Skydell began his career in 1982 after receiving his BA in economics from Yeshiva University, where he served on the student council. Upon graduating, he launched Hudson Park Management and began purchasing walk-up apartment buildings in the Alphabet City neighborhood and performing the necessary repairs to keep them operational. After more than a decade as the president of Hudson Park Management, Harry Skydell joined The 601W Companies in 1995 as its director of acquisition and development.

As such, Harry Skydell has helped 601W acquire more than 50 million square feet of office building space throughout Manhattan, San Francisco, and Washington, DC. Of note, he directed the company’s purchase of the Chicago-based Prudential Plaza, which was acquired for $416 million and flipped five years later for $680 million.

In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Skydell has chaired fundraisers for Just One Life, which is committed to aiding struggling new mothers, as well as for RCCS, which provides support and advocacy for families of cancer patients. He also serves on the boards of Yeshiva University’s RIETS School and Yeshiva Torah Vodaath.
