With a background in educational leadership extending more than three decades, Harold Nolte currently serves as president of Dodge City Community College in Kansas. Involved in fundraising, recruiting, and public speaking activities, he emphasizes the importance of open communication between staff, faculty, and the board. Harold Nolte previously served as district president of Blinn College in Texas and coordinated with the board in developing a college master plan, an environmental scan, and a strategic plan.
Dr. Nolte also spent a decade as president and provost of Navarro College’s Ellis County campus in Texas. He managed the full range of campus operations and boosted on-campus enrollment from 1,100 to more than 4,300 students. A major undertaking involved the negotiation of a land acquisition that enabled the construction of two buildings on the Waxahachie Campus. He also oversaw a $1.6 million renovation project on campus. Harold Nolte’s efforts to enhance the school’s community presence earned the college the Waxahachie Chamber of Commerce’s Industry of the Year award.
