Over the course of his career, financial services executive Harold M. Buckner, Jr. has provided strategic leadership to a variety of companies. Buckner, Jr. held his first professional position with Accenture, where he rose to the position of Senior Manager and oversaw technology transformation initiatives as well as strategic business programs. He left the company after 12 years to start his own financial services group, which centered its efforts on service to closely held businesses. The venture gave him the opportunity to develop relationships with such businesses as National Financial Partners, which then brought him on board full time.

He then accepted the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the COLI BOLI business at Transamerica. Most recently named as President of COLI BOLI, he facilitated strategic development and served on the company's divisional management committee.
