Harold D. Rose Jr. is the owner of Homies Cinnamon Rolls in San Diego, California, a company he founded in 1990. It began with a homemade recipe and quickly found placement in more than 20 7-Eleven convenience stores. In 1998, Harold D. Rose Jr. opened his own storefront and earned recognition from Baking and Buying magazine as the #1 Buns operation. The company was also rated as a 5-Star Treat to Eat by ESPN. Mr. Rose has grown the business even further since then, with locations at US MGM Resorts. Homies Cinnamon Rolls has a number of stores in the Las Vegas area.
Prior to launching Homies Cinnamon Rolls, Harold D. Rose Jr. spent seven years in the Navy as a galley watch captain and also served as a diet technician at Balboa Naval Hospital. In addition, he honed a career in entertainment as a radio personality on a Top 40 station in San Diego, and he appeared in The Hollywood Knights with Tony Danza and Michelle Pfeiffer.
