T. Eric Galloway established the Galvan Charitable Trust and the Galvan Initiatives Foundation in 2012 with partner Henry van Ameringen. Under their leadership, the Galvan Foundation (as the two organizations are collectively known) strives to improve the lives of the citizens of Hudson, New York, in virtually all areas. T. Eric Galloway has especially focused the work of the Foundation on providing services and support to some of the region’s most economically disadvantaged residents.

To this end, T. Eric Galloway and the Galvan Foundation operate the Galvan Foundation Grant Awards. This program gives small grants to an array of local service providers and charitable organizations. Not only are grantees selected for their contributions to education, the arts, and other important services, but for their ability to use the Galvan grants to create other new, impactful programs. Recent grant recipients include the Hendrick Hudson Chapter of the NSDAR, the Columbia Land Conservancy, the AIDS Council of Northeastern New York, and Bindlestiff Family Variety Arts, Inc.

In addition to his work with the Galvan Foundation, T. Eric Galloway serves as the president of both the Lantern Organization, Inc., and the Lantern Group, Inc., in New York City. He has led the sister real estate development and community services organizations since 1997.
