Edesiri Onatejiroghene Ibru has more than fifteen years of experience working in a diverse range of sectors across the world including upstream petroleum, banking, and port services. Currently, Edesiri Onatejiroghene Ibru manages all aspects of administration and human resources for Destiny Dredger International, ltd., a Nigerian company that provides dredging services to major ports across Nigeria.

Edesiri ‘Tejiro’ Ibru began her career in 2000 working at the Kemaman Supply Base in Malaysia. There she gained hands on experience and insight in the upstream petroleum industry and worked alongside drilling field engineers. She drew on this experience working as an upstream petroleum analyst for Deloitte & Touche, gathering data on petroleum resources in northwestern Europe and the United Kingdom.

In 2005, Ms. Ibru led the founding of Head International Banking Group, an international bank focused on investments in central and west Africa. In this role she was responsible for research and data gathering in order to identify expansion opportunities in Gambia, Equatorial Guinea, Liberia, and Sao Tome & Principe. Her responsibilities included meeting and networking with central bank and private bank representatives throughout the region.

Leaving Head International Banking Group in 2007, Ms. Ibru became the head of the project management office of Oceanic Bank International, Plc, and was responsible for over 30 projects managed in collaboration with Mckinsey & Company. She began her position with Destiny Dredger International, Ltd.,in 2010.
