Over the course of his career, Dr. Tim Remillard has shared his skills as a physician with underserved populations across northern Ontario. He has served as a private practitioner through Thornbury Medical Center since 1998, during which time he has also practiced as an emergency physician, coroner, and hospitalist with Grey Bruce Health Services. Dr. Tim Remillard comes to these roles following six years of locum tenens service in northern Ontario, having previously completed a family residency and fellowship that included service in rural communities throughout the region.
A graduate of the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University, Dr. Tim Remillard continues to advance his professional knowledge by attending conferences, seminars, and training events. He recently took part in such programs as the Pace Cardiology Clinic, and he earlier completed a Comprehensive Cardiac Update for Primary Care Physicians through Southlake Regional Health Centre. Dr. Remillard also attended the 2014 National Capital Conference on Emergency Medicine and several times participated in population-specific trainings, including the Ontario College of Family Physicians' course Diagnosis and Management of Patients with MCI and Dementia.
