Surgeon Dr. Aaron Tragos most recently served with Fort Leavenworth Munson Orthopaedic Clinic, where he cared for 19,000 members of military families. Effective in treating a broad range of sports and combat injuries, he also provided general orthopaedic care and implemented several new intervention protocols, including outpatient partial joint arthroplasty and allograft-based resurfacing. By the end of his tenure, Dr. Aaron Tragos had received commander's and first sergeant's awards for outstanding performance.

Dr. Aaron Tragos comes to his work as a former orthopedic surgery resident through Michigan State University, where he collaborated on the creation of retrograde drilling methods for osteochondral lesions in pediatric patients. He presented a poster on this research at an American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons meeting and distinguished himself as one of 12 residents nationwide to earn the Zimmer award, thus becoming the only osteopathic resident to receive this honor. He then went on to additional residency work in spine surgery as well as further training in surgical oncology and hand surgery with leading physicians.

After completing his residency, Dr. Aaron Tragos entered practice and secured staff privileges at three hospitals in the Trenton, Michigan, area. He served in this role for five years, after which time he relocated to Maine to accept a position as orthopaedic surgeon at Machias Community Hospital. Since then he has practiced in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings across the Midwest and Great Plains.
