With several years of experience working in the mining exploration industry, Dev Randhawa manages several British Columbia, Canada-based firms. Dev Randhawa is the founding chief executive officer (CEO) and chairman of Fission Uranium Corp. and its spin-off company Fission 3.0 Corp., both based in Kelowna. In 2013, he decided to take over the JV partner Alpha Minerals and during the process he created Fission 3.0 Corp.
Before founding Fission Uranium Corp., Dev Randhawa worked as founding CEO and chairman of Fission Energy Corp. Under his guidance, the uranium exploration company formed a joint venture with the South Korean utility KEPCO and then received accolades for its high performance in 2011. He negotiated the sale of Fission assets to Denison Mines for $85 million in 2013 and received an award from Finance Monthly as Dealmaker of the Year as a result of this transaction.
Dev Randhawa earned his undergraduate degree in business administration from Trinity Western College of Langley, British Columbia. He went on to obtain his master’s degree in business administration from the University of British Columbia. For the past several years, he has maintained connections with Trinity Western and works as a business mentor.
