Dasha Resnansky

An experienced periodontist, Dr. Dasha Resnansky provides a variety of oral health treatments to her patients. She is particularly well versed in the treatment of severe periodontal disease, even for patients with complex medical histories. When addressing the disease in its advanced stages, Dr. Dasha Resnansky performs procedures like root surface debridement, a treatment that involves excising damaged oral tissues and scaling and root planing, or cleansing root surfaces of infection.

Upon first seeing a patient, Dr. Dasha Resnansky conducts a thorough medical history to determine information relevant to periodontal health, including the presence of underlying conditions like heart disease and diabetes. She then conducts a gum exam, during which she looks for indicators like receded gums and loose teeth. If necessary, she may order X-rays to determine the health of the jawbone.

For recreation, Dr. Resnansky trains for distance races including the Miami Half Marathon. She also attends New York- and Florida-based art galleries and cultural events.
