Curt Sigfstead, who presently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area, devotes a good deal of his spare time to assisting others in his community. In addition to volunteering to help out at Katherine Delmar Burke School, Sigfstead lends support to the San Francisco Food Bank in several capacities: he is on the board of directors and sits on the finance, governance, and development committees. Moreover, as a charter member of C-100 since March 2010, Curt Sigfstead collaborates with other business professionals to encourage technological entrepreneurship in Canada through investor support and the development of key partnerships.
Curt Sigfstead completed his undergraduate education at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where he secured a bachelor's degree in international relations and competed as a member of the rowing and rugby teams. He later returned to school and entered the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business for his master's degree, where his studies centered predominantly on finance. An enthusiastic supporter of his alma maters, he has sat on fundraising committees for reunions at both schools.
