Charles Rosier started his career as an investment banker at Lehman Brothers in 1996.
In 1997, Charles Rosier joined SBC Warburg bank, which merged later that year with UBS to become UBS Warburg. In 1999, Charles Rosier was promoted and became Manager of UBS Warburg’s Debt Capital Market Division, in charge of the French, Quebec and Belgian markets. Two years later, he was also assigned to derivatives and structured products’ sales in French-speaking markets, as well as the financial institutions in the Iberian Peninsula.
In 2009, Charles Rosier joined Goldman Sachs as Managing Director of the Financing Group, responsible for capital markets and derivatives for France and Benelux.
In 2010, Charles Rosier joined the Brazilian bank BTG Pactual as a Partner. At BTG Pactual, Charles Rosier is in charge of developing activities and optimizing the bank’s relations with its partners and clients outside of the Brazilian territory, particularly in Europe, South America, the Middle East and Asia.
In addition to his work at BTG Pactual, Charles Rosier supports humanitarian and environmental causes. Charles Rosier backs the research led by Professor Etienne Baulieu through the company Mapreg in order to find a cure to depression, cerebrovascular accidents (CVA) and tetraplegia. A drug able to cure strokes with damage to the spinal cord is already in clinical trials, and the results on a treatment for depression are exceptional. A former President of the French Academy of Science, Professor Baulieu also devotes time and effort to researching a cure for Alzheimer’s through the Baulieu Foundation.
Charles Rosier is also involved in humanitarian causes. He was one of the first to invest in MPOWERD, a « social business » that invented, produces and markets a solar-powered lantern. East to use and fairly priced, MPOWERD’s Luci lanterns could help bridge the energy accessibility gap in developing countries while also appealing to eco-responsible consumers throughout the world.

Charles Rosier graduated with honours from Fénelon Sainte-Marie College in 1991, after successfully completing a Baccalaureate with a concentration in science. He then attended Intégrale higher education institute, a leading preparatory school that prepares students for admissions at the top French business schools. After successfully passing the entrance examinations, Charles Rosier attended ESCP Europe starting in 1993 and received his « Grande Ecole » degree in 1996.
Charles Rosier graduated from ESCP Europe. He speaks French, English, Spanish fluently and is proficient in Portuguese.
