As co-CEO and trustee of the Otto Bremer Trust (OBT), Brian Lipschultz leads one of the biggest private charitable foundations in the United States. Brian Lipschultz also sits on the board of directors for Bremer Financial Corporation, a financial services company co-owned by OBT and Bremer employees.
Leading up to his work with OBT, Mr. Lipschultz has held the title of director of finance or chief financial officer in several companies, including DreamWorks SKG, where he served as head of international consumer products, finance, and publishing. He also has served as senior financial analyst for Stone Container Corporation, manager of financial strategy at Kraft General Foods, manager and assistant treasurer of Miller Brewing Company in Milwaukee, and CFO for uMogul.com, a technology startup in Santa Monica.
He holds a master’s degree from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Business. Outside of work, he is a successful jazz musician and vocalist who enjoys listening to jazz artists. He also frequents plays and musicals and travels all over the world for business and pleasure. In terms of outdoor recreation, he plays several sports and snowboards and wakeboards.
