In 1994, Avinash Rachmale founded Lakeshore Engineering Services, Inc., a construction engineering firm with more than 200 employees, and serves as its president and CEO. The company has focused primarily on domestic public-sector clients in places like Kansas and Texas and internationally on clients in Iraq and other Middle Eastern nations. In 2011, Avinash Rachmale played a key role in the company’s merger with TolTest, Inc., which has expertise in the Asia Pacific specialty construction marketplace.
In preparation for his career, Avinash Rachmale earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Government Engineering College in Aurangbad, India. Following that, he secured his master’s degree in civil engineering from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. Later, Wayne State recognized him with its Distinguished Engineering Alumni Achievement Award and a place in its Engineering School Hall of Fame. He owes much of his success to his parents, who urged him to seek out higher education.
When not working, Mr. Rachmale stays physically active playing golf. He is a member of the Lake Country Club in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
