Throughout his career, government affairs and policy development professional Alphonso Maldon has cultivated connections between the public and private sectors. He has served in senior executive roles with the government banking departments of several prominent organizations, including PNC Financial Services Group and Bank of America. In these roles, Alphonso Maldon built relationships with government agencies and initiated business development programs, including a Bank of America initiative that led to increases in new business totaling more than $60 million per year.
Mr. Maldon initially entered the banking industry in 2001, previously serving in a variety of government-appointed positions. He has also served in a number of legislative positions, contributing to decisions ranging from banking and financial services to intelligence and international affairs.
A former commissioned officer of the United States Army, Alphonso Maldon has earned a number of medals, including the Distinguished Civilian Public Service Medal and the United States Congressional Award for Leadership and Patriotism. He now applies his expertise as appointed chair of the Military Compensation, Retirement, and Modernization Commission, a role he fulfills while offering federal market consultancy to businesses as founding CEO and president of Partnership Strategies Consulting.
