Since 1989, Dr. Alan Kratenstein has offered all aspects of general dentistry and family dentistry at his private practice in Staten Island, New York. He is also experienced in implants and full-mouth rehabilitation and, committed to expanding his capabilities, has completed over 600 hours of continuing education credits. Dr. Alan Kratenstein is licensed to practice in both New York and New Jersey and holds multiple certifications, including ones for cardiopulmonary resuscitation and infection control.
As an undergraduate, Dr. Kratenstein attended the State University of New York at Buffalo, where he earned a BS in chemistry, after which he earned his DDS from the New York University School of Dentistry. He belongs to the American Dental Association.
In his free time, Dr. Alan Kratenstein enjoys gardening and working out. He is also a fan of sports such as golf and bowling, which he plays often, and he is a lifelong supporter of the New York Mets and the New York Rangers.
