Afshan Lakha

An entrepreneur with a background in accounting and real estate, Afshan Lakha has served since 1996 as a principal in the Bellevue, Washington-based commercial real estate firm Lakha Investment Company, LLC. She previously cofounded Puget Sound Stations, Inc., through which she and her husband opened and operated 21 gas station, convenience store, and car wash facilities. As operations director for Puget Sound Stations, Afshan Lakha handled responsibilities ranging from the design of store floor plans to weekly review of profit-and-loss reports.

Earlier in her career, Afshan Lakha worked as a budget analyst for Transpacific Development Company. There, she performed financial performance evaluations for 24 commercial properties to help Transpacific secure new investors and loans. She has also conducted commercial real estate audits as an audit accountant for Coldwell Banker Commercial.

A committed patron of the arts, Afshan Lakha donates to the Seattle Symphony and serves as a trustee of the Seattle Art Museum and the Pacific Northwest Ballet. She travels to destinations around the world to collect art and participates in leading contemporary art fairs, such as Art Basel Miami, Frieze New York, and Frieze London.
