As president and CEO of Rose Community Foundation, Sheila Bugdanowitz plays a crucial role in improving the greater Denver area. For more than decade, Sheila Bugdanowitz has led grantmaking and initiatives with assistance from the foundation’s board of trustees, and her impact on the nonprofit community has garnered much attention from local organizations.
The recipient of the El Pomar Foundation’s Shrine of the Sun Award, Sheila Bugdanowitz also received listing among the Colorado Women’s Chamber of Commerce’s Top 25 Most Powerful Women and was named the Kal Zeff Business Leader of the Year by the Jewish Family Service of Colorado. Additionally, in 2010, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce named Rose Community Foundation the large nonprofit of the year.
In her spare time, Ms. Bugdanowitz serves on the board of the Mountain States Employers Council and supports the Women’s Forum of Colorado as a member.
