A veteran teacher, administrator, and sports coach, Lee Pritzl currently leads River Ridge School District as superintendent. His duties involve managing operations and ensuring that high educational standards and positive behaviors are met. Lee Pritzl also leads River Ridge’s Educator Effectiveness model , which has enhanced the quality of teacher development in ways that translated into higher student achievement. He emphasizes the importance of close community outreach and collaboration and strives to include volunteer senior citizens in classrooms.
Mr. Pritzl’s professional experience includes a positions in the 1990s with the Campbellsport School District in Wisconsin as a teacher and assistant principal. Also serving as the district’s athletic director and head football coach, he helped the team reach the playoffs for three out of four years. In 1999, his team ranked second in the state Division 3 and earned its first conference championship title in more than two decades. Mr. Pritzl’s sustained instructional efforts led to his selection as “Teacher of the Year.” Lee Pritzl maintains membership in the American Association of School Administrators and in the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development.
